Vision and Mission
Our vision is to enable reliable and economical renewable power systems. Herefore, we deliver validated models for renewable power system analysis and control. Our mission is to develop customized solutions for various stages of power system planning: from investment planning to operational strategies and grid stability improvement. Cooperating with the Open-Source Community and research we come up with new approaches and tailor-made solutions for our customers’ needs.
Dr. Sabine Auer holds a PhD in Physics from the Potsdam Institute of Climate Impact Research and has more than ten years of experience in the field of renewable energies and power system analysis. With her work at Yale University and Siemens, she gained valuable experience in both research and practice.
Christina Vogel holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has more than five years of experience in research transfer. Working more than two years in Asia and Africa, she successfully lead international projects.
Chief Technology Officer
Tobias Deß holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Stuttgart University. He co-developed PandaPower 1.0, an open source tool which was recently adopted by the German Federal Grid Agency. He further has practical experience from his time at Netze BW and Siemens.
Chief Software Architect
Jan Liße has more than 14 years of experience in software development and software architecture. He studied Media Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg for his diploma.
